(CALIFORNIA, USA). Kristen Weardon , of Naples, Florida captured the title of Ms. U.S. Globe 2008. Runner-ups for the title were Mrs. Tennessee, Jennifer Loveless (1st runner up), Mrs. West Coast, Bambi LeShell, Mrs. Nevada, Tiara English (3rd Runner up), tied for 4th Mrs. Indiana Justine Kadhal, and Amanda Grad from Arizona. Mrs. North America was won by Cammie McBryer from Georgia. Mrs. Globe serves as a fundraiser for the WIN Foundation, a non-profit outreach specializing in abuse and self-esteem recovery. As the new Ms. U.S. Globe, Weardon is the national spokeswoman for the foundation. Says the new Ms. U.S. Globe, “It took two years to reach this goal and with great enthusiasm, I step into this honorble position.” The new Ms. U.S. Globe won cash and many other prizes, including a gold and diamond Ms. U.S. Globe necklace, a diamond bezel Reymond Weil watch, a smile make-over valued at $15,000, a year supply of SHOCK Cosmetics, the official cosmetic company of Mrs. Globe, clothing, a trip to Bleglium, shoes and more. In addition, as the winner of Ms. U.S. Globe, Kristen will represent the U.S. at the 2009 Mrs. Globe contest, scheduled for August 2009. The new Ms. U.S. Globe will reign until August 2009 and during her year will travel throughout the US and other venues in support of the charity and the Mrs. Globe pageant.
