ABOUT US
The Organization Behind Reclaiming Me
Three Decades of Empowering Women
Founded in 1996 by Dr. Tracy Kemble, (Ph.D.), W.I.N. Foundation International (Women In Need) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to helping women affected by abuse reclaim their self-worth, identity, and independence.
Our Specialty
Through its signature Reclaiming Me Program, WIN specializes in addressing the mental, emotional, and psychological effects of abuse - supporting women who remain silent, women still experiencing abuse, and women rebuilding their lives afterward.
Our Experience
For three decades, WIN has provided recovery education and empowerment, with approximately 50 active students participating in its programs each week. As the governing organization of Reclaiming Me, WIN oversees its curriculum, facilitator certification, training standards, and program integrity.
Reclaiming Me Principle:
Abuse is not a Disease or Demon.
It is a learned Behavior.

WHY RECLAIMING ME
The recovery gap
Reclaiming Me bridges the critical gap between leaving abuse and truly rebuilding a whole, empowered life - something crisis and shelter services alone cannot provide.
Many women suffer in silence, as not all abuse leaves visible injuries. Mental, emotional and psychological abuse can be difficult to recognize.
Leaving an abusive relationship does not automatically restore identity or self-worth or personal identity.
Psychological and emotional effects can continue long after physical safety has been established, leaving gaps for the cycle of abuse to continue.

Many women experience abuse without identifying themselves as victims or seeking formal assistance.
Recovery requires opportunities to recognize harmful patterns, rebuld self-trust and develop healthier life skills.
Reclaiming Me Principle:
100% of all physical abuse begins with emotional abuse.
But what about those who never speak...

About Reclaiming Me
The Recovery Program

Reclaiming Me Principle:
Self-Love is a Non-Negotiable
Reclaiming Me is a structured, year-long abuse recovery and empowerment program that uses cognitive and behavioral learning principles to help women recognize and change harmful patterns developed through experiences of abuse.
Specializing in the mental, emotional, and psychological effects of abuse, the program provides education, practical tools, and guided self-reflection to help women rebuild their identity, self-worth, confidence, and independence.
Developed through three decades of experience, Reclaiming Me combines a progressive curriculum with measurable self-assessments to document each woman’s personal growth from enrollment through graduation.
30 YEARS OF EXPERIENCE.
ONE MISSION.
3 Decades of Program Development
Reclaiming Me has evolved through 30 years of direct program delivery, field testing, participant assessments, and ongoing curriculum refinement.
Its measurement system includes initial assessments, graduation reassessments, and long-term graduatefollow-up, including women who completed the program more than 15 years ago and continue to participate in reassessment.
WIN Foundation International retains ownership of the program’s curriculum, methodology, assessments, and educational materials.
